'Good news' in the Bible

The beginning of the Good News of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

Now after John was taken into custody, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the Good News of the Kingdom of God,

and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand! Repent, and believe in the Good News."

For whoever wants to save his life will lose it; and whoever will lose his life for my sake and the sake of the Good News will save it.

Jesus said, "Most certainly I tell you, there is no one who has left house, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or land, for my sake, and for the sake of the Good News,

The Good News must first be preached to all the nations.

Most certainly I tell you, wherever this Good News may be preached throughout the whole world, that which this woman has done will also be spoken of for a memorial of her."

He said to them, "Go into all the world, and preach the Good News to the whole creation.
